Cuba opens Consulate General in Guangzhou - Guangdong - News Brief

The Cuban Consulate General opened in Guangzhou on April 15th. Tang Bingquan, Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong and Felipe Perez Roque, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs attended the launching ceremony.

Tang Bingquan said the establishment of the Cuban Consulate General in Guangzhou will strengthen cooperation and communication between Guangdong and Cuba.

The total amount of imports and exports between Guangdong and Cuba was about USD 50 million last year, and more Cantonese are choosing to travel in Cuba.
