The 2005 Art in Life, conceived by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, will have initiatives in three cities in South China Guangdong Province, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, during the month of June 2005.

The 'Art in Life' 2005 edition aims at promotion among the Chinese public of the excellences of made in Italy and Italian lifestyle. And the program, first held in Guangdong, will focus on the introduction of Italian wine and food, as well as architecture.

Stefano Pipino, Vice Chairman of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, expresses that the 2005 edition is the first edition held in Guangdong, and the Chamber want to present something 'concrete' to let Guangdong people have the 'first impression' on Italy and its goods, which are traditionally and generally associated with high quality. The further promotion of Italian fashion, luxury goods, tourism and leisure may come to Guangdong consumers in the 2006 edition.

There are 40-odd pieces of architectures featured in 'Gold Medal for Italian Architecture' exhibition. These pieces may give the visitors an idea on how the contemporary architecture act as a means to improve environmental and civic quality.

The festival Art in Life will also be held in Beijing and Shanghai.
