Latest Updated by 2006-07-12 16:24:54

Since the end of the 1930s, Mr. Chenwang has been representing Chinese past tribulations with his woodcarving to arouse the public and call on democracy and resistance. After the 1950s, he paid tribute to the new life of the masses as masters. From the 1980s, he eulogized the reform, the opening up and the new complexion in the new century with joy. Mr. Chenwang spends his life portraying social change, the spiritual path of the people and society in general. He is a passionate singer of the times.

In 2004, Mr. Chenwang donated a collection of 105 print works and their printing plates to Guangdong Museum of Art.

Venue: Hall 9, Guangdong Museum of Art

Opening Dates: July 7 - 23, 2006
