New Generation Art Show features works by young artists who are long-term residents of Guangzhou. These artists have been continuously engaged in creative experiments in contemporary arts, attempting to identify certain "tendencies" from different perspectives. The identified "tendencies" are brought onto being in a variety of media by the application of logic to emerging "tendencies" that are in a constant state of movement and change. The origins and continuing development of contemporary arts should be seen as an evolutionary process; embodying changing practices combined with, and driven by, ideological and spiritual dimensions that have revolutionized the results of artistic creativity and the means and structure of perception.

The "movement" can be partial or monolithic, exuding dynamism, tenacity and freedom.

More than 20 paintings, photographs, videos and other works will be on display.
